the first few critical steps towards the third millennium, we are
confronted with the twin vision of a century that has sped fast –
a century of which our youth have been participants for a mere 20 years
or more and a century that hurriedly hurtles towards us – full of
Change, Challenge and Contradiction.
The world of Information Technology and IT schools will be among the
main agents that will be responsible for giving direction to the course
the next century will take.
Anand Institute of Information Science, Anand was
established in 2001 with a view to imparting computer education to
young students of surrounding areas and from all over Gujarat. AIIS is
affiliated to Sardar Patel
University, VallabhVidyanagar and is approved by A.I.C.T.E.
The three-years full time Master of Computer Application
programme has an intake of 60 students.
The AIIS authority
is eager to keep pace with the constantly changing scenario of cyber
world and the computer labs are under continuous updating process to
enable the students to be in touch with the latest innovations in the
area of computers and software.
Since inception our institute is privileged by the care, guidance and
nourishment from the management of ShriRamkrishnaSevaMandal.
The smooth running and progress of the institute is the result of the

Vision and
mission statement of Anand Institute of Information
Science is defined in joint co-ordinatoion
of the head of the institute and all the staff members including the
teaching and non-teaching staff. Vision and mission statement are
presented to all the staff members and feed back in terms of
contributions made and improvements necessary in future is done on
timely basis.
We have developed an organizational chart and defined
functional heads (with Job Profile) alongwith
various processes and activities. ( Organizational

Administrative staff and all concerned faculties are
responsible to ensure the implementation part conveyed to staff
members during the regular presentations. Monthly Staff level meeting
alongwith meetings of all the committees
handling various activities and processes are in effect which
provides all the staff members, an equal opportunity to put their
opinion among the higher decision making authorities.
